RUBYSPAM is a mixed media artist who works with oil and acrylic paint infused with wine, whiskey, coffee, balsamic vinegar and fruit and vegetable stains. She lives and works in the San Francisco Bay area and originally immigrated from Canada where she earned her BFA from the Ontario Collage of Art and Design and her business certificate through St. Clair College. She has been reviewed by SF Weekly, ArtBusiness.com and just recently the front page of The Food and Wine section in the San Francisco Chronicle.
She continues to exhibit her work at City Art Gallery as well as numerous group and solo shows throughout the Bay Area including Mina Dresden Gallery, Sun Gallery, Marco Fuoco Gallery, Galaxy Gallery in Chicago, and Open Studios through Art Explosion. She has recently been named the Winner of The First Annual Competition from Gallery 28 in 2010.
When she is not playing with wine and whiskey, she is curating shows and organizing artists through her company Pink Art Productions with her dog and personal sidekick Hailey.
