Poetry from Daniel De Culla

FLOURISH

Contemplating this Flourish
From Paseo de la Isa, in Burgos

While peeing

Talking to me alone
Lecture on old age

Wanting to mean' old age dissertates'

More to saying
'That talks about old age'
Like that tycoon who cried
Before the ravaged castle
Ruin of his past greatness
Suddenly appeared before me
A friend of my wife
Telling me coming to mind:
-Hello Dani. have you read that
About the urine test
For men?

-Which one, Pascuala? Asked.
-This, she smiling answering me:
When you go out fasting
To piss in the yard, street or river
Look and notice that:
If ants gather, you have Diabetes.
If you don't see it with your gut
You have Obesity.
If you pee your feet, Prostate.
If with the cold the steam smells of roast
You have high Cholesterol.
If when you shake it, your wrist hurts

You have Arthritis.

If you come home with your dick hanging

You have Alzheimer.

-Well, yes, you have put it to the egg, friend

I answered her.
Of bolin, of bolan
That same thing that you recite

I amĀ”
