  1. Is the church really moving?

ben24

‘The church is matching on

and the gates of hell shall not prevail’

The Word says

Yet, church is not only stagnated

but also a living manifestation of hell

Is the church really moving ?

‘Greater works shall you do…’ The Word assures the church

Unfortunately, the church has fall short of great works

Is the church really moving?

The word makes plain the role of men and women in marriage

but the church is a showcase of the modern couple age

Is the church really moving?

‘Love your neighbour as you love yourself’ the Word admonishes

However, the church is showing ‘conditioned’ love to its members

Is the church really moving?

The Word warns: ‘Do not forsake the assembly of the brethren’

Alas, its members are distracted by the cares of the world

Is the church really moving?

‘The truth shall set you free’ the Word says

The church is apparently hiding it in many ways

Is the church really moving?

The bible makes known to the church equality

Yet, it is having the guts to institutionalize hierarchy

Is the church really moving?

‘The Great Commission of wining souls to God’ the Word emphasize

The church is really yet to take that Great Leap of Faith to actualize

Is the church really moving?

The bible kicks against the love of money in the church

Howbeit, its sermons are seldom centred on ‘desperately’ making money

Is the church really moving?

The bible teaches about repentance from sin

The church is in a rigmarole of the reality

Is the church moving?

The bible tells the church: ‘You are in this world but not of this world’

But the church practically finds this odd

Is the church really moving?

The bible instructs the church to pray for those in authority

The discrediting remarks of condemnation from the church are majority

Is the church really moving?

The Word agrees that the church has been empowered to influence the world

However, the church has allowed the world influence it

Is the church really moving?

The bible asserts: ‘The church is the Body of Christ;

consisting of brethren—the members’

Alas, the focus is on the structure;

not the people

Is the church really moving?

‘When the foundation of a building is destroyed,

what can a righteous man do?’ The bible asks

Has the church erected its OWN stance on a wobbled foundation?

Let’s ask ourselves for the last time: ‘Is the church really moving?’

  1. Just a Christian!

I was taught to be my brother’s keeper

Yet, I am self-centred

I was taught to honour my father and mother

Yet, I am disobedience-personified

I was taught to love my neighbour as myself

Yet, I am not doing just that

I was taught to give share what I have with the needy

Yet, I am thinking what I have isn’t enough for me

I was taught to always tell the truth

Yet, I am that liar

I was taught to abstain from fornication

Yet, I am indulging in it

I was taught to have faith always

Yet, I am harbouring unbelief

I was taught to trust God only

Yet, I am seeking for ‘alternatives’

I was taught to be live in peace with myself

Yet, I am always in conflict with me

I was taught the love of money is the root of all evil

Yet, I am berserk for money

I was taught not to steal

Yet, I am embracing it as a habit

I was taught to live a righteous life

Yet, I am guilty of the world’s influence over me

I was taught not to leave a double-standard lifestyle

Yet, I am that hypocrite

I was taught not to be envious of others

Yet, I apparently cannot do without it

I was taught to be like Christ

Yet, I am just a Christian!
