Young Central Asian woman with a black coat with white embroidery standing in a roomful of people and flags.

ALEXANDER ARKADYEVICH FEINBERG

Tell me, driven by dreams and faith,

You’ll never turn back now, will you?

You’ve left your shore, far behind,

Seeking only a distant miracle?

Where to? Like a flame beyond reach,

Your dream will never be fulfilled.

A miracle is always a wave,

While the shore is ever the land.
