Poetry from Emmanuel Barnabas

THE LAMENT OF WARRIORS

Whereas the tale of war

Brave men…

The sight of battle may men cowardice

Whereas Dad spoke of time great in army

I bear tales of hidden facts_heights of pleasure forgone

Depths of peace traded off for crisis.

Whoso prays for war knows not it’s cost.

Whoso delighteth in war is a friend to a waster.

Civilized animals with laws to legalize death.

The ultimate qualm of fights stand tall

THE NO OF SACRIFICIAL LAMBS THAT MUST BE SLAIN.

WHEN IN THERE SILENCE THEY NEVER STARTED THE WAR.
