Life on the Scales
Life has its own stones and scales,
Do not long for every land.
The scales of life will weigh your deeds, And goodness will remain in hearts.
Life itself is a road of trials,
For some, joy; for others, pain and sorrow.
The wealth of this world will never remain, But your good name will stay with every step.
Every dawn is a new page for a person, Every good step brings light to hearts.
Time flows, the world passes, yet goodness Will surely bear its fruit one day.
The world passes, while time keeps flowing, Whoever sows goodness will reap goodness.
No deed is left behind on life’s scales;
One day, every good deed will be weighed.
O heart, choose goodness in this world, And understand every deed with a clear conscience.
One day you will stand upon life’s scales; Now tell yourself: what have you left behind today?
