Poetry from Ermira D. Ifandi

I, OTHER

You are silent

and silence is a mess,

like a house,

where thieves have entered

and the chairs have turned their legs.

The garden is early autumn

that undresses the trees

like a poet undresses the world,

without permission.

You are silent,

and in the room I remain,

other.
