Hi, I’m Finn Gardiner, associate editor of Synchronized Chaos. Due to personal issues, our Creative Facilitator, Cristina Deptula, is taking a hiatus from working on the magazine’s everyday operations. I’ve stepped up to take care of operations during that hiatus so that we can make sure that the artists, writers, poets, scientists and other contributors can continue to have their work represented here. I’m honoured to be part of Synchronized Chaos. Thank you all for having me.

By the way, the change in staffing doesn’t affect your submissions—the August issue is coming soon, and we’re still accepting more for September. Just send them to me at unexpectedly AT me.com, and I’ll review them. I look forward to seeing what people send in—the quality of previous submissions has always been excellent, and I expect nothing less.
