I Fear You Not – Affirmation Poem from Blanca Jones

I Fear You Not

Babylon – Daniel 1-6:16

LITTLE HORN – Daniel 7:8

MAN OF LAWLESSNESS – 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12

ANTICHRIST – 1 John 2:18

DRAGON – Revelations 12:9

You have no effect on me!

You cannot touch me!

Your efforts serve only to strengthen me.

I fear you not

For I rejoice in my

Relationship with my sweet Lord!

The disguised temptations you present me

Are inevitably revealed and disrobed

By the grace of my loving God.

Although I am weak – I am strong!

Although I stumble – I right myself.

Although I fall – I rise above you!

Although you bring me darkness,

I see light!

And I fear you not

For I rejoice in my

Relationship with my sweet Lord!

Although you entice me with luxuries

I pray for forgiveness and wisdom.

Although I am woman (man)

Christ lives in me!

I belong to my Lord!

Upon your destruction

I will reside

In the house of my Lord

For all eternity

And I will enfold

As many as I can under my wings!

For I fear you not

As I rejoice in my

Relationship with my sweet Lord!

Bless us all my Lord who rejoice in your love

Bless us all my Lord who seek your truth

Bless us all my Lord who seek your strength

Bless us all my Lord who fall at your feet

Bless us all my Lord who walk the path leading us home

In your name we pray

Our Lord Christ Jesus

Amen

  1. The poem of Blanca Jones is full of inspiration and power. As I read it I feel my strenght and courage being revived and ready to stand any battle in my way. At the same time, her sweeat voice, tone, and words, calm the soul and direct you to the source, God, The Lord. I will welcome more work from the author.

  2. Simplicity and truth are laid bare in Blanca’s beautiful poem. Her words are really the words that all of us in relationship with Christ must always hold on to and proclaim. The victory has already been won, thanks to the precious blood of Jesus. And so, this earthly battle isn’t ours, it’s the Lord’s.

What an inspiring poem that so blessed me. Thank you, Blanca, for sharing the gift God has given you.

  3. A bold a courageous poem. It’s a well put together piece of love and devotion to our heavenly Father. a slap in the face to our common enemy the liar. I look forward to more of her work.
