Mystery
When I am restless and forlorn,
Near sand and sea I am reborn.
Near dancing dogs and gulls that dive,
Near crashing surf I come alive.
I love your symphony so swift and sure,
Your harmony so sweet and pure.
Your waves first tall, then small, then gone.
I counted five, then three, then one.
But that one lingers just for me…..
I think I’ll call it “Mystery.”
