Central Asian teen girl with short dark hair, earrings, and a dark colored tee shirt.

My hero is my father

My father is my hero. For me, my father is brave, a hero and more than any other warrior. People always praise our fathers. It is true that they were also ready to give their lives for the country. But the person always sacrifices his life for you, his children, his family it is your dad. Do you know our saying “My father-my country”?! This was said to our selfless father. When did your father say no to you? He says the truth, but he does think about your future. I love my dad so much.

About my family:

There is five girls in my family. But my dad doesn’t separate any of us and treats us equally. I have the only dad in the world. Everyone’s dad is a hero for himself or herself and this is absolutely true!

The influence of the Internet on humanity

In modern society, the concept of the Internet is embedded in the mind of almost everyone. Although the first computers and global networks appeared not so long ago, it is no secret that the Internet has already firmly established itself in our lives and mind. People of our time have reached the point where they can not imagine their lives without the Internet. The Internet is the fastest and easiest way to get the information you need at any time. However, like any innovation, it has its pros and cons.

First, letʼs talk about the positive aspects, it brings the distance closer, the information can be found in one place, e-books, online stores, the possibility to save time… So the number of positive aspects. But just as there are two sides to a coin, the Internet has its fair share of downsides. The Internet is making people lazy.
Children are not playing together in the streets like before, some children do not even know who their neighbors are and this is a very sad situation.

Earlier, people used to look forward to serials, movies and cartoons on TV, but now they donʼt know how to use TV. At the same time, the Internet causing a number of serious problems. For instance: stress, depression, sleep disorders, increased anxiety. In addition, while the Internet saves time bringing people closer, some people are wasting their precious time on idle networks. What I mean by this, keep in touch with your friends and loved ones offline, and remember that friendship is a treasure! From time to time, organize days without the Internet and do not lose touch with the real world by getting wrapped up in the virtual world.

        Abstract

Teaching foreign languages has become an essential component of education in a globalized world, where cross-cultural communication and multilingualism are increasingly valued. This article explores the multifaceted approaches to language education, highlighting the importance of communicative competence, cultural immersion, and the integration of technology in enhancing language acquisition. Drawing on theories from prominent linguists such as Stephen Krashen and Claire Kramsch.

Key Words:Modern technologies, speaking apps, methods,scientific research,tips.

   Introduction

In our increasingly interconnected world, the ability to speak multiple languages is more than just a valuable skill enhanced career opportunities, and deeper interpersonal connections. Teaching foreign languages has thus become a cornerstone of modern education, reflecting the growing need for global communication and collaboration.  This article explores the diverse strategies and methods that educators are using to make foreign language learning both effective and enjoyable.

Methods Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) Overview:

CLT focuses on enabling students to communicate effectively and fluently in real-life situations. The approach emphasizes interaction as both the means and the ultimate goal of learning a language.Implementation: Lessons are centered around activities that require authentic communication, such as role-playing, group discussions, and problem-solving tasks. Grammar and vocabulary are taught in context rather than through isolated drills, with a focus on function rather than form.

Using Multimedia Resources Overview:

Incorporating movies, music, podcasts, and other multimedia resources into language instruction can greatly enhance the learning experience by providing context and engaging students’ senses.Teachers can use films and TV shows in the target language to improve listening skills and expose students to natural, everyday speech. Music can be used to teach rhythm, pronunciation, and vocabulary, while podcasts can offer insights into culture and current events.

Vocabulary Building Techniques Overview:

A strong vocabulary is essential for language proficiency. Effective vocabulary teaching involves not just learning words but understanding their usage in context.Teachers can use flashcards, spaced repetition software, thematic word lists, and word games to help students retain new vocabulary. Encouraging students to use new words in sentences, discussions, and writing assignments reinforces learning. Research by Laufer and Nation (1995) indicates that a threshold level of vocabulary is necessary for reading comprehension, with a strong correlation between vocabulary size and reading ability.

Use of Technology and Apps Overview:

Modern technology offers a wide range of tools that can enhance language learning through interactive and personalized experiences.Teachers can incorporate apps like Duolingo, Babbel, or Rosetta Stone for practice, use online dictionaries and translation tools, or leverage platforms like Google Classroom to manage assignments and provide resources.

Discussion

In the past, language instruction often centered around grammar-translation methods, where students learned vocabulary and rules in isolation from actual language use.Krashen’s Input Hypothesis suggests that meaningful communication is the key to language acquisition, which has led many educators to focus on immersive and interactive teaching methods. As Krashen notes, “Acquisition happens naturally when the focus is on understanding messages rather than on explicit language instruction.”Stephen Krashen introduces the Input Hypothesis, which emphasizes the importance of comprehensible input in language acquisition. According to Warschauer, “Technology provides learners with unprecedented access to authentic language resources and opportunities for interaction with native speakers, which are crucial for developing language proficiency.”

                                                       Conclusion

Teaching foreign languages is not merely an academic endeavor but a vital component of fostering global citizenship and cultural understanding. As our world becomes increasingly interconnected, the ability to communicate across linguistic boundaries is essential for personal and professional growth. Effective language education combines innovative teaching methods, cultural immersion, and the integration of technology, ensuring that learners are not only proficient in a language but also equipped to navigate diverse cultural landscapes.

ENGLISH LANGUAGE EDUCATION & PEDAGOGY

Umurzoqova Aziza Yaxshiliq qizi,

Jizzakh State Pedagogical University,

Faculty of Preschool Education, student of group 542-22,

foreign language course in preschool and primary education.

Abstract: The article highlights ways to improve the quality of teaching English by using different methods in general education schools.

Key words: school, skill, method, education, upbringing, knowledge, skill, creative, classification, innovation, objective , qualification.

After our country gained independence, interest in teaching foreign languages increased and many opportunities were created for young people. As our first president Islam Karimov said, “Currently, teaching foreign languages is given great importance in our country. This is certainly not for nothing. Today, there is no need to overestimate the importance of perfect knowledge of foreign languages for our countries, which are striving to take their rightful place in the world community, for our people, who are building their great future in solidarity and cooperation with our foreign partners.

As a logical continuation of these thoughts, the Presidential Decree “On measures to further improve the system of teaching foreign languages” adopted on December 10, 2012 expanded the opportunities for learning foreign languages. In our republic, new methods and requirements have been developed in accordance with the recommendations of the European framework for foreign language teaching and assessment of knowledge and skills of foreign language teachers (CEFR). According to it, textbooks were created for students of general education schools and vocational colleges. In accordance with these requirements, classrooms were equipped with stands and new information and communication techniques. The demand for learning a foreign language is increasing day by day.

Foreign language science is divided into four aspects (reading, speaking, listening comprehension and speaking), and separate concepts and skills are given for each of them. Educational technologies are effective use of modern information technologies in the educational process. It is also intended to increase the quality and efficiency of education by introducing modern innovative technologies into the educational process. In particular, there are several advantages of using such information and communication technologies in learning a foreign language. The role of modern technology in language learning and teaching is incomparable. The use of technological tools is useful in every aspect of learning a foreign language (reading, reading, listening and speaking).

For example, in order to listen and understand, of course, this process cannot be carried out without a computer, player, CD discs. Listening comprehension is one of the most important parts of language learning. At the same time, the reader is required to pay attention to the speaker’s pronunciation, adherence to grammatical rules, vocabulary and its meanings. An important factor in the use of modern technologies in the educational process is that students know information and communication technologies well and are able to use them. Teaching and learning a foreign language using modern technologies is one of the most fruitful ways.

We know that in the current educational process, the student should be the subject. Focusing more on interactive methods will increase the effectiveness of education. One of the most important requirements for English language classes is to teach students to think independently.

Implementation of the developed experiences of pedagogy and achievements in education is considered one of the important conditions of today. Currently, a huge base of experience that a teacher can use during his career has been formed, and it is getting richer every day.

However, it is difficult for teachers and future professionals to learn these experiences. The position of the teacher is particularly important in creating best practices and popularizing them among colleagues. The educator should pay attention to the value and effectiveness of the new advanced pedagogical experience when implementing it. leads to the idea that ways of improvement should be sought in close contact with the psychology of communication.

In the process of training a student for professional pedagogical activities, it is necessary to teach him professional pedagogical communication skills at the same time. The selected literature and information for the development of students’ communicative skills – general teaching materials – are as follows it should include lexical-grammatical and stylistic changes, as well as reflect the structures of oral and literary speech. All communicative skills cannot be taught at once. Divide the process of teaching communicative learning skills into several stages.

In the first stage, it is necessary to organize goal-oriented observation and perception of students’ personal or professional activities of teachers in dynamically changing situations. is to perform professionally oriented exercises during the implementation of tasks. In the third stage, organizing independent implementation of professionally oriented communicative activities by students.

In short, as a result of using innovative methods in English language classes, students’ logical thinking skills develop, their speech becomes fluent, and the ability to give quick and correct answers is formed. Such methods make students eager for knowledge. The student tries to prepare thoroughly for the lessons. This makes students active subjects of the educational process. As the educational system sets itself the task of educating a free-thinking, well-rounded, mature person, in the future, we future teachers will contribute by developing ways to effectively use innovative technologies.

Poetry from Shodiyeva Mexribon

Central Asian woman with a brown headscarf, earrings, and a pink and white collared shirt.

Uzbek

Farmers start work at dawn,

Blessing scatters seeds on the ground.

White gold is more abundant than anywhere,

If you bow down, you will get something like this.

The winter-summer table is full,

There is no other woman like her.

No poet can compare,

Hospitable, sincere, native Uzbek.

Simplicity is known from the face,

They are fighting for pride and honor.

What you find is attached to your heart,

The spirit of the ancestors is always in the hands.

He calls the one he meets his friend,

There is no bread here.

The children of this people are hospitable,

The glory of the Uzbek is as high as the sky.

Essay from Ismailov Sanjar

Middle aged Central Asian man with short dark hair, clean shaven, and in a gray suit and tie with a blue shirt.

Shrine of Sa’d Ibn Abu Waqqas

This pilgrimage site, which took place in the history of the Jizzakh oasis, is located in the village of Avliya, Gallaorol district, and is divided into two parts. The upper part of the shrine – the area along the lake, with its healing and holy springs, different beautiful and charming corners, its own charming nature, and unique landscapes will delight anyone’s tongue. The lower part of Kadamjoni is notable for its old mosque and mosque.

The building of the mosque was built in the 19th century by master builders from Jizzakh – master Kamil, master Qabil, master Zuhur and master Mirziyo. It attracts the attention of any pilgrim due to its oriental style. The carpentry work in the building was done very skillfully. The colorful patterns on its ceiling testify to the fact that Mirzo Zaid and master Bobojan, who were once known as skilled painters, were really masters of their profession. Patterns, which are the product of great work and high skill, have not lost their charm even to our days.

Sa’d Ibn Waqqas was the son of one of the nobles of Makkah, and when the revelation of prophethood came to our prophet Muhammad, he was a young man, he converted to Islam and showed the qualities of a leader.

In the sixteenth year of the Hijra, he was appointed as the leader of the army sent by Caliph Umar ibn Khattab to Iran and Movaroonnahr. blood is shed instead. Sarkarda’s son-in-law is buried in the cemetery on the north side of the village (there is a small room here), and a room was also built near the lake where the blood of the Blessed One fell.

The incident did not affect the health of Sa’d ibn Abu Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with him) much, he later returned to Arabia and lived a long life. During the Enlightenment period, he lived as a davandist. But in the years before his death, he asks them to bring him a woolen turban. When he brought his chakman, he said: “Shroud me with this, because I fought with this chakman against the polytheists in the Battle of Badr.” I want to go to the presence of Mr. Haq in this bag…” (from the books “Munjid” and “Life of the Companions”).

The holy spring here is also called “Sa’d ibn Waqqas spring”. At present, these places have acquired a beautiful and charming landscape. Thanks to the constant care and attention of the Jizzakh regional administration, as well as thanks to the donations and efforts of generous people who have a generous heart and respect for historical values, the buildings of the shrine were built. it was settled, put in order, and the place of pilgrimage was extremely improved.

You can also see “holy fish” in the lake – blackfish included in the “Red Book” of Uzbekistan.

The territory of the shrine is 14.2 hectares.

Ismailov Sanjar was born in 1986 in Gallaorol district of Jizzakh region and is the head of press service in Gallaorol district’s administration.
