Poetry from Nidia Garcia

Young European light-skinned woman with brown hair and bangs and reading glasses.

LET’S  PLANT A TREE

Let’s plant a tree

Deep in the earth

This gives pure air

It’s my greatest wish.

We can participate

And almost without realizing it

Take care of our land

So that we can enjoy

the National Parks.

Like the finest pearl

More beautiful and more valuable

This is the divine land

I don’t think of anything else.

Let’s keep the air clean

Also the land and the water.

There’s no time to lose

Tomorrow will be too late.
