THE APPARITIONAL TRACE:

 

In a recorded moment in history,

  time stood still.

A tragic event occurs. 

Death takes place,

in the form of murder.

Needless to say,

that it was a very violent death.

 

Then the ghostly aftermath,

hauntingly settles in.

A barrage of cries, screams and groans,

seem to echo throughout the house at night.

Tenants are affrighted when they go inside. 

 

They say the dead never really rest,

after such a tragic death.

So beware of the apparitional trace. 

IN THE COMPANY OF LONELINESS:

It shows up uninvited. 

Causing the heart to be anything but delighted. 

The tears are the companion of loneliness, causing the heart to be anything but to be excited. 

Loneliness is the soul’s only friend, causing the heart to be affrighted. 

 

Locked-up, in the prison of fear. 

Driven away from the pleasant and joyful company, once held dear. 

Emotions of doubt and sorrow, seem to linger near. 

The souls only companionship is a trace of a tear. 

 

Expressions of loneliness seem to know no bounds. 

The sorrow in the heart is the mind’s only sound. 

Where pain and sorrow  did abound. 

So does the company of loneliness linger around. 

THE WANT FOR LOVE: 

The longing for the prize possession is rendering to the soul. 

Love is the glue that makes the heart whole. 

It’s the rock that makes the heart roll. 

 

Isolation from the social realm doesn’t exactly,

 fit the description of someone looking for romance. 

So, you might find it at a dance. 

Or, you might find in a glance. 

 

An understanding relationship is the best. 

It’s the pillow that makes the soul rest. 

 

 

THE FACE BEHIND THE CLOWN:

 

The expression sometimes rarely tells the story.

While the clown painted face may just be faded glory.

The clown puts on a show to bring people laughter, while the state of mind of his thoughts,

may be gory.

No, the disguised painted face doesn’t always tell the story.

 

THE IMPRISONED GAURDIAN:

 

The fear is damaging to the human spirit. 

Isolation decides the fate of denied freedom. 

Depravation of the right to have social acquaintances, the request is turned down. 

 

Fearing strange events before they occur, the guardian is a prisoner of his/or her own fright. 

Leaving the inmate in total captivity.

Maybe someday, the chains of fright will be broken.
