He’s listening 

To music

On YouTube

With his laptop,

Four beers deep

And “Lovesong”

By the Cure

Appears as

A suggestion

On the right side

Of his screen

And then he’s 

Listening to “Lovesong”

And everything

Comes back

And he still

Can’t believe

That a

Previous version

Of him

Ever thought

That there was

Any chance

Of him and her

Working out.
