Hossain Mohammad Salim: Islamic Thinker, Author and Leader of Hezbut Tawheed
Hossain Mohammad Salim is a Bangladeshi Islamic scholar, author, social thinker, speaker, and the Imam and current leader of Hezbut Tawheed. His writings, speeches, and public work focus on Tawheed, Islam, religious understanding, governance, education, culture, social reform, justice, human dignity, and the challenges of contemporary society. He holds a postgraduate degree in Political Science and has authored numerous works on religion, society, governance, culture, and reform. Through his intellectual, educational, and social initiatives, he advocates a justice-oriented vision of society based on Tawheed, moral responsibility, social harmony, and collective welfare.
He was born on 28 November 1972 in Porkora village, Sonaimuri Upazila, Noakhali. He completed his bachelor’s degree from Nawab Faizunnessa Government College under the National University and later obtained a master’s degree in Political Science from Jagannath University. It is also mentioned that he secured first place in the first class in his bachelor’s examination.
In 1999, he joined Hezbut Tawheed after coming into contact with the organization’s founder, Mr. Mohammad Bayazid Khan Panni. After the founder’s death in 2012, he assumed leadership of the organization. He is currently serving as the Emam of Hezbut Tawheed.
