My mother tongue is my identity, my national pride, and my future.
Every language is not just a collection of words. A person begins to understand his identity by first getting to know and study his language and history. Every nation has an invaluable treasure that reflects its identity, culture, and passes on its history from generation to generation. This is its native language. Through its language, every person introduces the values, customs, and culture of its people, which have been formed over the centuries, to the world. Language is an important tool that elevates a nation, introduces it to the world, and determines its present and future.
My native language, Uzbek, is not just a means of communication for me, but an incomparable treasure that unites my entire being, my national pride, my great history, and my future.
The Uzbek language belongs to the Turkic language family and is distinguished by its attractiveness, intelligibility, expressiveness and unique grammatical structure. Its centuries-old history reflects the arduous path of our people. The role of our great thinker, grandfather Alisher Navoi, in the development of the Uzbek language is incomparable. Navoi proved to the whole world through his immortal works how powerful the Turkic language is. His historical heritage does not lose its significance even today. Each language has its own unique features, and the difference between the Uzbek language and other languages is that it has the ability to create new words and change the meaning of words by adding suffixes to words. Most importantly, in the Uzbek language there is the ability to use one word in different meanings.
Nowadays, learning foreign languages and mastering the heights of modern science are the main tasks of every young person. Learning foreign languages creates an important opportunity to introduce the Uzbek language on an international scale. It is the task of each of us to bring our native language to the international arena. To do this, we can increase its international prestige by translating our literature into different languages, teaching our language to foreigners, and developing various Uzbek content in the digital world. After all, if our language sounds in the world, our national values and history will spread even more widely. Our homeland will rise another level. Language unites the entire nation. Without a language, there will be no nation, and where the nation disappears, the concept of the homeland fades.
Therefore, we must respect the Uzbek language, that is, our native language, keep it pure, and introduce it to the world. After all, we should include our language not among the dying languages, but among the developing ones. The goal of introducing the Uzbek language to the world is not only to show our history and values, but also to teach other peoples a new language, new literature, and new culture.
Although today the Uzbek language is not among the most developed languages, for me, my native language always stands at the top in any situation, I am proud of my incomparable language. The Uzbek language is our identity, our pride, and our bright path to the world, our future.
