The Meadowland Review is an online literary journal comprised of a small group of writers and editors who share a commitment to providing a public space for thoughtful and original material. We welcome and encourage both emerging and established writers of short fiction and poetry.
Submission Guidelines
We will be reading submissions for our summer issue from April 1-June 1.
The Meadowland Review will not accept material that has appeared in other online or print publications. Simultaneous submissions are accepted, but you must notify The Meadowland Review if your work has been accepted by another publication. All work MUST be original.
We accept submissions of:
poetry: up to five poems, 80 lines maximum per poem
short fiction: up to 7,000 words
photography: up to 3 photographs
The Meadowland Review will claim first rights to all accepted work and the right to archive all work on this website. Rights to all work in The Meadowland Review will revert to the author/photographer upon publication.

Please indicate either poetry, short fiction, or photography in the subject line
For poetry and fiction, please paste the text of your submission into the body of the email.
Poetry or fiction submissions sent as attachments will not be read
For photography, please provide the title of the photo in your email and attach your image. We accept images only in the following formats: GIF, JPG, PNG or TIF.
Please include your full name, email address and 3-5 line bio with your submission
Please do not submit more than once during a reading period
When the editorial staff has made its selections, you will receive an email notification about the status of your submission. Please expect a response within 3 months.

Two-Bit Magazine is a publication dedicated to exposing emerging, talented writers and artists, as well as new work from veterans. We are looking to build an eclectic body of work: short fiction, creative nonfiction, poetry of any genre or form, serialized novels and novellas, and graphic novels and comics. We will also accept academic work, reviews, essays.

The Berkeley Fiction Review, an undergraduate, student-run publication, is always looking for innovative fiction that plays with form and content as well as traditionally constructed stories with fresh voices and original ideas. Please note that though we accept stories year round, expect a delay if you submit during the summer.
The criteria for short story submissions are:
– 8,000 words or less (nothing over 25 pages)
– Typed, 12 point font, double-spaced and single-sided
– Cover letter should include address, phone, email, and title of story
– Must note if story is simultaneously submitted
– Include a SASE for returning manuscripts.

Hi, I am a single mother, & proprietor for the past six years of (an at home) small business called Peanoonies. I design & sew women’s & children’s clothing & accessories.I also sell really fun, beautiful textiles. I lost my small business during a divorce this last year, but have restarted it online through an Etsy shop.
Any how, I have created a web page on Kickstarter.com. It is a format for people to raise money for their creative projects.It is an attempt to get back what I have lost, and be financially stable for myself & kids.On this site you will find a description of my project, a brief biography, a one minute video of myself and links to pictures of my work & my web site.
