Everything
Too many
people
pretending and accepting
what the world has become….
When will we open our eyes
and our hearts
and change everything?
Arrival
You speak
and I listen,
believing
with a flow of tears.
This world temporary,
but You
are forever
helping us
into the Arrival.
I was impressed by these poems. There is humanity here, and a deep, profound tenderness and a longing to exist, to be counted for. When the poems come, we must obey. To make sense of this world, the numbing, crushing, bittersweet lows, and the energetic highs, we must obey, we must write our truth to power, and shape our melancholy and sadness, our creativity and despair, our imagination and struggle, whatever motivates us to put pen to paper, to sit in front of our computers at our desks and compose verses on a keyboard, into wildflowers.
And our tears make us see into other realms, and visit other dimensions, other aspects of this world. An arrival is also a departure of sorts, it is also an acceptance, a beginning, an invitation.
“I never try to write a poem without its command—when a poem comes and asks to be written, I simply obey.”
Suman Pokhrel
“My writing, it’s my way of making sense of everything. My way to feel whole. May I never be complete and may I never feel content – please, let me always have the need, always have the urge to write. ”
