Two Graves

Two kinds of graves exist

as well as two chapters.

The grave of life on one hand,

and the grave of death on the other.

The womb, the first,

The earth, the second

The chapter of life, the first

The chapter of death, the second.

The womb as a grave nurtures life for nine months until it is finally exhumed as a chapter.

The earth consumes us all at sunset, when it finally closes the chapter of each life.

The way we came, is the same way we will all go.
