Poetry from Taylor Dibbert

Invictus Version

He remembers

When she

Left him

And he remembers

Wondering whether

He really wanted

To be here,

That wondering him

Must have been

A previous version

Of him

Because the

Invictus version

Is here now.

Taylor Dibbert is a writer, journalist, and poet in Washington, DC. He’s author of the Peace Corps memoir “Fiesta of Sunset,” and the forthcoming poetry collection “Home Again.”
