That Dog

He still regularly

Looks at photos

Of London

On his phone,

He could be anywhere

When he does this,

That dog was

Thirteen pounds

Of amazing.

YOU

You turn my mind around you
as a rosary in prayer
When you surrender your soul to God
my step towards you is moving.
You buy me without money
You call me without invitation
I'm coming unannounced.
Pray, I am closest to you in prayer.

FIND ME

YOU unknown man who prays to God
I am sending you a message
through my dreams, find me, my knight!
I raised ramparts of self-protection from all people,
so high that I could neither see the sun nor the moon.
I dance in a circle with silk threads
and skillfully wrap myself and
separate myself from everyone and
I'm already suffocating from my own darkness,
recognize me that I am a soul in need of deliverance
find me, take me, and set me free me from slavery.
I don't know what love is, I don't even know what marriage is,
all those aspirations of other people are foreign to me.
Find me and take me I need you!

Essay from Gulasal Ne’matjanavna

The future of the young generation has always been at the center of Uzbekistan’s state policy. Even today, large-scale reforms in all spheres are being rapidly carried out in order to eliminate the problems that have arisen in our country, to create conditions that positively affect the development and education of young people.

Uzbekistan is truly a country of youth. Young men and women growing up in this country have many dreams and goals. The initiative and support of the head of state will help them realize these goals. President Shavkat Mirziyoyev said: “As we have set ourselves the great goal of establishing the foundations of the Third Renaissance in our country, for this we must create the environment and conditions that will educate new Khorezmians, Berunis, Ibn Sinas, Ulugbeks, Navoi and Baburs.” In this, first of all, development of education and training, establishment of a healthy lifestyle, promotion of science and innovation should serve as the main pillars of our national idea”, – his words opened the way for young people to achieve great goals.

Many reforms are being implemented in order to effectively spend free time of young people, introduce them to the rich heritage of our ancestors, and instill love and pride for the motherland. In particular, we are witnessing the opening of many doors of success by the Republic Youth Affairs Agency. Special projects for women, development classes, new decisions, new stages of support are becoming more and more popular. That’s why it is worth saying that today our youth is strengthening the foundation stone to build their goals and future. Young people are recognized as an active layer of society in all spheres. In particular, the fact that this recognition has been doubled today is a great result. The reason is that their role was incomparable in the period of the Eastern Renaissance, in the activities of the moderns, and in the renewal of society. In this respect, this regularly forming layer requires constant guidance and support.

Analyzing the reforms implemented in the field of youth policy, we can see the inextricable connection between the state and the youth. Employment of young people continues in every direction. Necessary conditions are being created for boys and girls to develop in all aspects and get education. This is important for them to become a generation that will contribute to the development of the country in the future.

HOW MY FAMILY SURVIVES:

ON HUMAN ADAPTATION TO HARSH HABITATS

If you’ve imagined

vast sandy ruins

you should intuit

there are Bedouins.

And icy wastelands

would seem to imply

there are Inuit

who would there reside.

BORN FOR TWILIGHT

Today’s worlds lose their edge.

Sharp light softens with age.

Silhouettes turn vague.

Colorshapes gray to sludge.

Horizon slides to sky.

I was born for twilight.

My seven senses smudge.

THE SILENCE MAY BE MORE IMPORTANT THAN THE NOISE: AN ILLUSTRATION

FOR LOVE

You wanted to share my life;

time kept you from my past; the future hasn't come yet;

today is just for laughs.

Sometimes I know i bored you,

and other times ignored you.

You know how I felt toward you.

But to say I wanted no one but you would not be true.

I auditioned my actors, and you weren't in the cast.

Fitting out my clipper life replaced you with a mast.

You know that I adored you.

But once I had explored you

I just could not afford you.

Many a man has decayed and gone to bugs – but not for love.

THE BEAST

And now who's going to drool at your beauty?

Who's going to bark through the night?

Who's going to bury

his bone for you today?

and howl for your exclusive delight?

My head has become a slow white dove--

no match, I'm afraid,

for the swiftsweet addersss of your fingersss.

Just a flikflik of the tongue,

one whiplash embrace--

and

already

the rich delicious poison

invades my heart.

Imagine our bodies in braille,

fingertongues perusing,

teasing out nuances,

weighing every significance.

We turn over

sheet after sheet.

Each climax foreshadowed,

we read ourselves to sleep.

I love your body's several smiles

as I press my name on all your mouths.

I love the way your body smiles

in some of your most surprising places.

I love the several smiles your body hides.

I love the hidden ways your body smiles for me,

The Easter Egg Hunt of your passion. The gift at your Christmas Tree.

No music's only one finger on one string.

The ocean wants a moon to make a tide.

Left foot needs right to create a stride.

And flight requires flow and wing.

It all makes a kind of bawdy sense:

Selfish soliloquy, no substance.

sticky nights

with a peppermintcheeked wonderchild

gumdrop breasts and licorice thighs

and acres of sugar cube smile

(even sweets will turn sour

if left for overnight;

too many lonely long hours

between the passion and delight)

and now who's going to drool at your beauty?

Who's going to bark through the night?

Who's going to to bury his bone for you today

and howl for your exclusive delight?

I've had my wine,

my kiss and my cock,

my garden and my trial.

I've got my thorns,

my thief and my hill,

my boulder and my style.

Where are my ring,

my fief and my rod,

my halo and my choir?

IMPATIENT THIRST

The heat rushes me towards the summer...
There is an impious thirst in me for what is coming
Life begins to be me
a mix of fierce freedom
and fierce mistrust
A late tangle of reflections
will convert all creatures
in small transitory gods ..

And when we finally worship them fiction will begin,
How did it happen to the Greeks?
If there is pain, our hope is consumed
and gives life to the homeless
Happiness has nothing,
It's just the song of a soul in love
Where eternity is today
And I will know nothing then from those days...
when your laugh
It echoed in the corners of my loneliness.

Poetry from Sevinch Omonova

Young Central Asian woman with long black hair and brown eyes and a dark black jacket over a white collared blouse.

Mother laugh… Mom, laugh, let go of sadness,

This world is not full. Rejoice and be filled with happiness,

I forget the pain. Mom, laugh, stop Pox from your feet,

See my happy fate, My dreams lead to happiness‌‌

“Summer with Kamalak!”

Summer! The heart of this season is full of love and happines! Even the sun, green Nature and wonderful gardens have special beauty and kindness . Especially summer is the favorite season of the little ones. Because they go on summer holiday. Summer shares love to all children! In the Republic of Uzbekistan also school classes are completed in may, and the summer holiday lasts until September. During these three months, children have a rest in different camps or at home with their family. In my hometown, children’s time always goes enjoyable with modern camps, bathing pools , playgrounds and, of course, delicious ice creams! The summer holiday of children of Uzbekistan is really joyous with Children’s organization Kamalak . The Children’s organization Kamalak has been operating under the Youth Union of Uzbekistan since 2001. This organization is loved by so many children. Apart from, there is a lot of youths who grew up with it. This organization always tries to worry about every child and support their talents. Captains of the Children’s organization Kamalak operate in 12 regions of our republic, Tashkent City , Republic of Karakalpakstan and all districts. Currently, the chairman of the Republican Rainbow Children’s organization is Madina Baratova. And the captains of the whole Republic are headed by Rukhsora Shakirova. The Children’s organization Kamalak has organized many new projects by this day. One of these projects is that- “Summer with Kamalak”. As soon as the summer holidays begin, a start is given to this project. Enterprising and aspiring, active captains in all regions of our country take new initiatives.  They visit various places.A lot of different  events, intellectual games, creative work contests and sport competitions are organized for children at the  camps.  Of course it’s amazing!

This year, too, according to tradition, this project continues in all regions of our country. Kamalak captains who work in the regions are visiting not only camps. They are organizing this project at also neighborhoods. The activities under this project are rainbow-colored. For example, in June, during “Summer with Kamlak” project the captains of Navoi region visited the children’s camp which called  “Perfect generation’’, The captains of Surkhandarya region visited the  ‘Amudarya’children’s camp, the captains of Namangan region visited at Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur amusement park, the captains of Fergana region visited School No. 5 in Fergana, the captains of Bukhara region visited the remote neighborhoods in the region and organized the “Summer with Kamalak” project.Within the framework of the project “Summer with Kamalak”, a lot of new projects and events are held in all regions of the Republic, as well as in remote neighborhoods and ovules, in order to make children’s free time meaningful.

Of course, this project is sharing joy again to children.

Summer is more joyful , unforgettable and meaningful with the “Summer with Kamalak”project!  This project will continue  around Uzbekistan for a long time.
