Grandfather Sultan Uwais Pilgrimage Complex.

Sultan Uvais Bobo complex is an architectural monument in Beruni district (17th-19th centuries). Sultan Uwais (real name Suhail ibn Amir ibn Ruman ibn Nahiya ibn Murad) was born in the Muradi tribe of the Qaran village of Yemen (in 625 BC). He was martyred at the age of 32 in the Battle of Siffin (657 AD) between the soldiers of Hazrat Ali and Muawiya. He was buried in the village of Safa in Syria. Sultan Uwais was engaged in collecting hadiths (7a. 1st half). In the 17th century, his followers built a symbolic tomb (in present-day Beruni) and a shrine. Olloqulikhan built a large mosque and 10 separate chillkhanas for the sheikh (19th century). The complex is rectangular in shape (21.5×53 m), oriented from north to south. Sultan Baba mausoleum, mausoleums built later (mostly with domes), etc. It is located in the northern part of the courtyard surrounded by a brick wall. In the south there is a mosque, a porch, a room and hotels. The complex is entered from the west. The complex of Sultan Uwais Baba was built on the basis of medieval Khorezm architectural traditions (made of brick). On the initiative of Khorezm region hokimity, the shrine, the entrance part was renovated (2002). The mausoleum of Grandfather Sultan Uwais is not only a favorite place of the people of the lower Amudarya, but also a tourist center.

Gate at the end of a large road with two large open pointed arches, Arabic writing on the top in white script on blue bricks, and minaret towers for prayer. Mountains and power lines in the distance.

The complex of Sultan Uvais-bobo (XVII-XIX centuries) is one of the most sacred places in the lower reaches of Amudarya. He is associated with the name of Uwais al-Qarani. It is narrated that he was the Prophet s.a.w. was considered one of the followers and lived in the village of Qarayn in Yemen. The reason why he is called Sultan is that he was the Sultan of saints. Sultan Uwais Qarani in 37 Hijri (657 AD) Hazrat Ali r.a. will be buried in this place according to his recommendations.

Sultan Uwais Qarani our Prophet s.a.v. even though they did not see him personally, their love for him was boundless. He is Rasulullah s.a.w. was one of the pious people who strictly adhered to the Sunnah of Our grandfather Sultan Uwais Rasulullah s.a.v. when he heard that his teeth were broken, he broke his own teeth. It was from the strength of love and respect. According to the order of Sultan Muhammad Khorezmshah, a large mausoleum was built at the place where Sultan Uwais was buried. However, due to Genghis Khan’s invasion of Khorezm in 1221, this mausoleum was destroyed.

The mausoleum built by Khorezmshah remained in a half-ruined state even after the reign of Genghis Khan. In 1800, the engineer Velichko, who was in the shrine of Grandfather Sultan Uwais and mapped it, remembers the existence of the mausoleum mosque.

Large stone building in an Islamic style with steps and a dome. People, including veiled women, walkup and down the steps.

After nearly 600 years, Khiva khan Eltuzar Khan restored this mausoleum in 1805-1806. However, due to severe earthquakes and floods in Khorezm, the mausoleum collapsed. 30 years after this event, the son of Muhammad Rahim Khan I, Olloquli Khan, restored the mausoleum in 1836-1838. The mausoleum of Grandfather Sultan Uwais was built on a high place. During the time of the former absolutist system, a gold chandelier and a grate with golden water were taken away. In 1932, the golden dome placed on top of the dome was also taken away by unknown people of the government of that time.

Interior of the shrine, arches and geometric designs on the walls in light green, blue, and pink. Prayer rooms behind fences.

The biggest shrine in the city is Sultan Uwais Baba shrine. According to historical data, in 659 Hijri, Sultan Uwais was buried on the mountain where the deceased spent his entire life (today Sultan Uwais Mountain) according to the fatwa of the ulama. Almost six centuries later, in 1805-1807, the mausoleum was restored by Khiva Khan Eltuzar Khan. Later it was also damaged by a strong earthquake. In 1836-37, Khan of Khiva Olloquli Khan restored the mausoleum.

Mosque in pink with green onion domes, trees and lawn in front.

At the initiative of our honorable President Sh.M. Mirziyoyev, a huge construction and beautification work was carried out at the shrine of Grandfather Sultan Uvais, and a mosque building was built and handed over to Muslims.

Last Call

A step taken by little boys and girls,
It was fun every time that passed,
But today the eyes are dripping wet,
It went like a breeze, far from what we expected.
Hold on for a while Last call.

A wish in the language of these eyes,
Even a special sky shines,
Dew wipes the face of a flower,
It went like a breeze, far from what we expected.
Hold on for a while Last call.

How many statements have not yet been made,
Fall has passed, winter is long for you,
Now we’re leaving broken hearts
It went like a breeze, far from what we expected.
Hold on for a while Last call.

They can never be your friends like a sister

If you tell me a secret, they will buy it.
Sometimes they throw slanderous stones at you,
When you see your actions,
They can never be your friend like a sister.

Sometimes you fight and frown
Then you sit down and take heart,
Others will listen to your pain.
They can never be your friend like a sister.

There is no mercy for you,
Sometimes you laugh when you remember the words he used to say,
If he goes too far, he’ll kill himself.
They can never be your friend like a sister.

Don’t fight sometimes – sometimes,
Love shines in every glance,
God bless you,
They can never be your friend like a sister.

We are the creators of the future!

We know that the 21st century is an era of intellectual development. The uplifting force of this development is young people, that is, people with high intelligence. Of course, today there is a great responsibility towards the creators of the future. After all, according to President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, “In order for our youth to become independent thinkers, have high intellectual and spiritual potential, become people who are not inferior to their peers in any field on a global scale, our state and society should be happy. We will mobilize all the possibilities of strength”, his words serve as a program for us. Being among such young people, I am proud to see the development of our country day and night. In my opinion, it is natural for every person who considers himself a child of the new Uzbekistan to have a question at this moment: how did I contribute to the development of my country?! Whatever I do, even if it’s a little, will benefit my people?! In order to find answers to such questions, I took a pen in my hand and began to write down my goals on a white paper.

First of all, as they say, “A job without a plan is a brick without a mold”, a person should make his plans so that all the good deeds he thinks about from early in the morning will be good. And the plans become more and more great goals. And I strive for not daily, but annual prospective goals. I want these targeted plans to serve not only me, but also the development of my country.

Secondly, no country can rise without sports and science. These two concepts will always accompany me. Of course, sport is a guarantee of health. Every young generation who plays sports follows a healthy lifestyle. Only healthy and strong youth can protect the country. As our elders say, “If there is knowledge, there will be greatness”, even a young person like me in the ranks of the youth of Uzbekistan will mobilize all my energy to acquire knowledge.

Thirdly, it is the effective use of the doors of opportunity created for young people and, most importantly, the supreme gift of time. “If you love life, don’t waste time, because time creates life,” said one of the philosophers. Today, the lives and work of famous people who have achieved great success in their field show that one of the main keys to their success is their ability to allocate time correctly. If time is spent in vain during the youth years, the opportunity to gain knowledge is also lost. Our today will become history tomorrow. The services and happy deeds of each person for their people will be forever imprinted in the history. Therefore, we, the creators of the future, appreciate our time, which is more valuable than gold, and achieve high goals!

It should be said that young people who are in tune with the times are leading in every field today. Of course, it is impossible to count the opportunities created for us today. I would like to put forward a proposal to hold the traditional republican competition “Sprouts of Future” in order to pay attention to young people capable of achieving greater goals and in order to support young people in every way. Because, you say, there are many different auditions. However, unlike them, this competition is organized among young people who have achieved more or less success in the field of science and education, literature and sports and have limited opportunities to show their talent. Because they, like you and us, are the bright future generations of Uzbekistan!

In conclusion, it should be said that we, the youth, are the hope of a great country. If we don’t waste time and fulfill the huge task in front of us wholeheartedly, no crowd, no foreign ideas can stand in our way. Everything is in our hands. After all, as our President said, “We have set ourselves the great goal of establishing the foundation of the Third Renaissance in our country, for this we need to educate new Khorezms, Berunis, Ibn Sinas, Ulugbeks, Navoi and Babur!” We are the worthy successors of such ancestors and will be the mirror of the future of New Uzbekistan!

Ulugbek treasure of Uzbek

People’s writer of Uzbekistan Odil Yaqubov, the owner of the “Friendship” and “El-Yurt” orders, won the name of the beloved creator of our people with his works of incomparable value. classified as “.Until now, the writer, who used to write on modern topics, now began to search for historical scenes in his imagination. He carefully studies many historical documents and sources related to the history of Ulugbek. At first, the writer wants to write a story about the tragic history of the library of Ulugbek. but he continues his work to cover this topic more widely and turns the story into a novel.Ulugbek is great for me not only because he was a famous scientist of the Middle Ages, but also because he was a scholar who experienced the worst tragedy in the history of our nation,” said our famous writer Chingiz Aitmatov. – I read it when I was 9 class. Because I studied in the Russian class, I rarely read the works of Uzbek writers. This novel made me fall in love with Uzbek literature.he fact that our grandfather Mirzo Ulug’bek is a master of knowledge in every field, and that he is even described as an astronomer and a king who ruled the country with justice until now I would like to quote sentences from the book that impressed me as proof of my words.

They say that there are two stars among the countless stars shining in the sky. When they approach, great people are born who can change the fate of mankind. What is the name of these stars? How many times during the last two thousand years, which great beings were born to those who came close to them during these happy moments? Then 8-year-old U’lugbek answered with his heart pounding again:

The names of the auspicious stars you mentioned are Zuhal and Mushtari. They approach once every eight hundred years. Therefore, they have approached three times in the last two and a half thousand years. The first time he approached, the great world conqueror Alexander the Great was born.

I will not be wrong if I say that these verses awaken a sense of pride in the hearts of every Uzbek child.

Poetry from Baratov Quvonchbek

The flower fell in love with water...
To water:
"I love you," he said.
Water:
"I love you too," he said.
After some time, again to Gul Suv:
"I love you," he said.

Water:
"I love you too," he said...
The flower got sick and withered...

Suv could not bear to see this situation and called a doctor. After a thorough examination of Gul, the doctor nursed Gul desperately. Water is worried:
- What happened to the flower? he asked.
And the doctor:

- He didn't do anything, he just ran out of water. - he said...
This means that love does not consist in saying, "I only love you!"
Love is loving someone who you believe can give you everything...

- Rumi

PROMISE LITTLE, BUT DO MUCH

Learning foreign languages is like becoming a completely different person. I understood the meaning of these words during my language studies.

In September 2015, from the 5th grade, we were taught English, and our first lesson began with the words of our teacher: "To have another language is to possess a second soul," that is, "Knowing another language is having a second soul". Although I did not understand the meaning of these words, which I heard for the first time in this language, they gave me a special feeling. From that day on, I had a desire to learn English perfectly and to become an expert in this subject in the future.

Over the past years, I have sincerely tried to learn the English language perfectly, and as a result, I have taken pride of place in many competitions and science Olympiads. In particular, during the 2018-2019 academic year, "What do you know about China?" was held at the republican level in cooperation with Dono Publishing LLC and the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Uzbekistan. Participating in the competition, I took pride in my place and received a diploma and two valuable gifts: a tablet and a printer.

Also, in April 2020, at the initiative of President Shavkat Miromonovich Mirziyoyev, I took the proud 1st place in the online olympiad in the English language among 9th graders held by the Fergana regional administration and a number of other organizations, and I received a diploma, a letter of thanks from the governor, and a collection of more than 50 books, which are considered the most valuable and precious gift for me. I started preparing for the international IELTS exam in January 2021, and in September I passed the exam to test my knowledge and got a B2 level. Of course, it was not easy to achieve all these achievements. I had a lot of sleepless nights when I struggled to learn. But my great goal, which always motivates me and encourages me to move forward, is to study in foreign higher education institutions and share the knowledge I have acquired with the youth of our country. It was also to justify the trust of my parents and teachers.

Over the years, I have not only learned another language, but my thinking has also changed completely. One of the main reasons for this is that I read many books written in English. Also, as a result of my online conversations with my foreign friends and peers, I got a lot of information about their lifestyle and education system. My teachers and friends have often pointed out that my worldview has expanded a lot during this time.

In order to take the first step toward fulfilling my dreams of several years, in April 2022, I applied and was accepted to the bachelor's degree program at the University of Arizona in the United States of America. At the same time, I became the owner of a grant in the amount of 88,000 US dollars. After that, I applied to the "El-Yurt Umidi" foundation scholarship competition and was accepted to the 2nd stage interview stage. But for some reasons, I decided to study my bachelor's degree in Uzbekistan and then my master's and PhD degrees on abroad. I don't regret it too much, because in August 2022, after successfully passing the university entrance exams, I was accepted to study at the Namangan State Pedagogical Institute on the basis of a 100% scholarship.

Even after entering the study, I achieved many achievements; for example, I participated in the "Speech Contest" organized by our institute in November, took pride in my place, and received a diploma and a present. My first article was published in the 1st issue of 2022 of the "Education and Development" scientific-methodical magazine on the topic "Vocabulary Learning Strategies of Secondary School Students." I also became a certificate holder by participating in an online course on Python at the "Digital Generation IT Camp 2023," held on January 5–9. Apart from this, I have become a certified WordUp coach on January 8th in 2023. Besides that during April 4-8 as part of the World Bank's project "Strengthening the Social Protection System of the Population", I participated in a 35 hour seminar-training on the topic "One step to entrepreneurship" and received a certificate upon completion. On may 5th I participated in Climate Science Olympiad 2023 and became quarter finalist. At the same day, my second article has been published on the 1st issue of 2023 "Scientific Journals of Talented Students" scientific-methodical magazine on the topic "Using English songs to improve listening comprehension of young students".

In the future, I would be very happy if I could contribute to the education of young people in my conuntry who want to learn the language, and at the same time, I could give them my modest support to develop and achieve high goals in this field. The 21st century is the age of information technology. Currently, 63% of the information available on the Internet is in English, and the best literature in any field in the world is written in English. I also have the intention of skillfully translating this information and these books into Uzbek language.

In conclusion, as I literally open the window of opportunities in our independent Uzbekistan, I convince myself that I am not taking a step without a purpose and I keep walking up the stairs to achieve my goals.

Poetry from Madina Abdullayeva

Young Central Asian woman with dark black hair and a black top and sweater. She has a smiley emoji above her face.
Madina Abdullayeva

One day, a person from the House of Mercy and Generosity came to our school and told us to write a letter to the children there. We came with our classmates to write letters to our peers there. I started to write a letter, but for some reason I got discouraged. I thought that whatever I write, whatever I write will make them happy. Then I finished the beautiful lines and sent my precious bead inside the letter.

A few days later, I received a reply to my letter. He wrote my name on the letter and sent it. Reading the letter, I was very moved. I started thinking about them from that day. How wonderful it is to listen to children in need and their dreams and hopes.

They are always waiting for their parents to come to where
they live. They do not stop hoping. We should learn patience from them.

When they looked out of the window, they saw their parents holding their children for a walk, carrying ice cream.

They look with envy at those who walk. Among these children, there are no children who are hopeless and have lost their desire for life. They dream that their loved ones will come for so many years. But it is natural for them to become uninterested in life after it is no longer useful. They promise themselves that they will never leave their child here!!!

There are no people who do not let them have such hopes. Among us are kind and generous people who bring gifts and money for them.\
Seeing their kindness, the children say that when they grow up, they will extend my hands of love and generosity to children like these people. A child is the greatest blessing of God.....!

God entrusts the child to people as a TRUST.
But BETRAYING DEPOSIT is a big sin....
Think twice before abandoning your child. A child is a blessing created from your body and soul. He is the successor of your lineage, the builder of the foundation of the future. Do not break their dreams and happiness. Don't give children the world - children will give you the world...

Only if you stand in front of them with strength and confidence.
